It’s all in the details – best designed map!
This map is my favorite and the best I’ve seen! I’m a designer, so I’m picky about what I purchase. Colors are bright and neatly organized so you can see everything from a distance. Nice size and the US states are separated and have different shades of red.There are no tacky extras – I love a clean design and smart layout! That’s what separates this one from others looking close. The flags at the bottom are evenly placed, countries are labeled well, easy to see borders and overall you can tell care went into the small things.Scratching off is smooth as butter with a penny. The paper is really strong – this will last forever once you get it unrolled. I’m adding pins right to the back of the frame for a little more effect!Even the box is fun with a little airplane that you pull to get to the tube. This is going to be my go-to gift for globetrotting friends!

Great gift idea!
I bought this as a gift for my dad. He is quite a traveler. He was really excited about it and inpressed by the uniqueness of the gift. He had no idea the product existed prior to receiving it. If you want to dress it up a bit you could frame it if you’re giving it as a gift. I chose this one over the others because you could also scratch off individual states.

Great for anyone who loves to travel!
PROS:*Big enough to see smaller countries/states*Includes country flags you can scratch off*Shows latitude/longitudeCONS: (see pic)*Some states that are together are all the same color and can blend together*If you scratch too hard, it can actually take off the colorI found that using a coin was usually too big for smaller areas. Use the end of a paper clip! Works great, just don’t press down too hard!

My new husband I and have traveled quite a bit individually (my husband in particular), and I decided to get this as our one year anniversary gift in order to document our travels together. I loved the idea of having the country flags displayed as well as the map itself, which is why I chose this specific model. The map itself its stunningly lovely with the gold and black alone, but the pops of color as you remove the filigree gives a certain sense of satisfaction that cannot be ignored. The filigree comes off easily with a coin, credit card, or fingernail (I use a credit cart to cut away specific lines). The colors are vibrant and the black background is exceptionally scratch resilient, keeping the map looking like new, even if you scratch outside the lines.I would post pictures, but the map is too stunning for me to tack to the wall, so it is living in its box until I can frame it and hang it on the bedroom wall. (The box itself is even cheekily adorable).

Great gift for the traveler in your life!
I purchased this for my fiancé for Christmas and he loved it. I got an inexpensive poster frame as well to hang it on the wall. The quality was good for the price you’re paying for it. We had no issues with scratching off some of the places we have been thus far!! My advice would just be to scratch gently to prevent any unintentional damage.This is a perfect way to document your travels, my fiancé loved it!
